Hospitality & Services
Restaurants, laundries and service businesses with several branches, where every sale is a tax document and every branch keeps its own day.
The context
A service business with branches runs dozens of small operations a day that all have to land in one set of accounts: tickets at a counter, orders from delivery platforms, a cash drawer per shift, stock consumed by the plate or by the kilo. Each sale is a simplified tax invoice under ZATCA e-invoicing, so the till is part of the regulated record, not a convenience in front of it.
What makes it hard
Every channel is a different order
A walk-in order, a delivery-platform order and a booked service arrive with different fields, fees and timing. One order model that keeps the channel as data, rather than one system per channel, is what lets a branch close its day once.
The shift is the unit of control
Cash, card and platform settlements reconcile per shift and per branch. A system that only knows the day cannot explain a variance to the person who has to sign for it.
Cost lives in recipes and loads
Margin depends on what a plate or a load actually consumed. Without recipes and consumption tied to sales, food or chemical cost is a monthly surprise rather than a daily number.
Branches change faster than systems
Menus, prices, opening hours and staff differ by branch and change weekly. Configuration that needs a developer turns every change into a delay.
How we help
- The first review maps every channel a branch sells through, and what each one has to hand the accounts at the end of a shift.
- ZATCA simplified-invoice reporting is designed into the sale itself, so a receipt never exists without its tax record.
- Recipes, consumption and waste are modelled against sales, so cost is visible the same day it is incurred.
- Branch-level configuration — menus, prices, hours, staff — is something the business changes itself, with an audit trail.
- Releases avoid service peaks, and a lost connection at a counter degrades to a queue that syncs rather than a closed till.
- ZATCA e-invoicing: simplified-invoice reporting at the point of sale
- VAT on mixed baskets, discounts and delivery fees
- Settlement files from delivery and payment platforms
- Per-shift cash control and handover
- PDPL for customer and loyalty data
- Offline operation at the counter
