Privacy
Oryven is a technology, development and innovation company in Saudi Arabia. This page says what this website collects, who else sees it and what you can ask us to do about it.
What this page covers
This page is about the Oryven website and nothing else. The site has one contact form, shown in a short version on the home page and a full version on the contact page. There is no account, no login and no other form. Work we do for clients is not covered here; that is set out in the contract for the work.
What the contact form collects
The form asks for your name, your email address and your message. Those three are required. A company name is optional. A phone number is required only when you ask to be contacted by phone or WhatsApp.
The form also sends the options you set: the kind of work, the scope, the budget range and how you prefer to hear back. The short form on the home page does not show the last two, and they are sent at their fixed default. The language you are reading in, English or Arabic, is sent with them. There is no file upload, no newsletter box and no marketing opt-in.
One field in the form is hidden and stays empty when a person fills the form in. It is there to catch automated submissions, which fill every field they find. When it arrives with anything in it, the enquiry is dropped at the door — nothing is delivered and nothing is written down.
Why we ask for it
What you send is used to answer your enquiry and nothing else. It is not sold, and it is not passed to anyone for their own marketing. The scope and budget answers are there so the first reply is useful — neither is a commitment. This is a contact form, so do not send passwords, card numbers or identity documents through it.
Who else sees it
The site keeps no database and sends no email of its own. What happens to your enquiry depends on whether a delivery service is connected to receive enquiries. If one is connected, it receives everything you sent, your phone number and your message included. If none is connected, the site writes a partial record into the log of the company that hosts it, and we read it there.
So three others can hold what you send. The hosting company sees every request to the site, the one carrying your enquiry included. A connected delivery service, where one is set up, holds the full submission. The provider behind our mailbox holds any mail you write to us.
We do not print the names of those three on this page, because a name printed here and changed later leaves the page wrong. Beyond them, your enquiry goes to no one. Write to info@oryven.net and we will name the ones in use, and say where the site is hosted.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies. It stores nothing in your browser: no local storage, no session storage and no identifier of any kind. There is no cookie banner, because there is nothing to consent to.
The site runs no analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no tag manager, no advertising pixel and no session recorder. The site itself counts nothing and follows you nowhere. What the hosting company records about traffic is its own, and the next section covers it.
No script, font or image on these pages is loaded from another company's servers. The typefaces are served from this site's own domain, downloaded once when the site was built. Links out to other networks are links and nothing more, with no embedded content behind them.
IP addresses and server logs
The site never reads your IP address. It does not store one, it does not log one and it does not pass one on. When an enquiry goes to a connected delivery service, the handover is made server to server, so that service sees our server and not you.
The company that hosts the site handles all of that traffic. Any record it keeps of requests is made by its systems, not by this site's code. What is in that record, and for how long, is set by the host and not by us.
When no delivery service is connected, the site writes one line about each enquiry into that log. The line carries your name, your company, your email address, the options you chose and the language you were reading in. Your phone number is left out of it. So is the text of your message. If a delivery to a connected service fails, the site records the failure and none of what you wrote.
How long it is kept
There is no database behind this site, so nothing you send is written into one. An enquiry sits in the host's log or at a connected delivery service, and then in our mailbox once we have read it. Those are the only copies made on our side.
We do not print a number of months here. A retention period we do not hold to is worse than none at all. An enquiry is kept while we are answering it and for as long as we need the record of the conversation. Ask us to delete it and we delete what is in our mailbox and at any connected service, but the host's own records are not ours to edit.
Your rights under the PDPL
The Saudi Personal Data Protection Law is the law that applies here. It gives you the right to know what we hold about you. You can ask for a copy of it in a readable form. You can ask us to correct it, and you can ask us to destroy it.
We hold an enquiry because you sent it and want an answer. That is the only reason it exists on our side. If you think we have handled it badly, you can take the complaint to the competent authority in Saudi Arabia.
We answer these requests within the time the law allows. We can act only on a request we can tie to an enquiry. Write from the address you used, or tell us enough to find it.
How to reach us about this
Write to info@oryven.net. One address covers all of it — access, correction, deletion or a question about who receives what. An email you send there sits in our mailbox like any other email. If the form is the wrong shape for what you want to ask, write to that address instead.
Changes to this page
If the way this site handles enquiries changes, this page changes with it. We do not email anyone about that, because we keep no mailing list. The version on this page is the one that applies.
